Designed for durability, comfort, and style, it features custom-milled cedar staves, precision-fit construction, and stainless steel hardware throughout.
Each unit includes a powerful ETL-certified 6kW heater, along with essential accessories to complete the experience: a cedar water bucket and ladle, sand timer, thermometer-hygrometer combo, two backrests, and 33 lbs of sauna stones. The sauna comes with opposing full-length benches, a pre-assembled cedar floor base, and roofing shingles for added weather protection.
Assembly directions are provided via email and assembly is straightforward with two people. The unit ships on a single pallet via LTL freight with curbside delivery . Electrical hookup requires a 240V, 30A–50A dedicated circuit — please consult a licensed electrician for installation.

Shipping & Delivery
We ship all saunas to the lower 48 United States. Free shipping is included for most states, with a modest fee for the 10 states farthest from our fulfillment center.
Handling & Delivery Times:
In-Stock Products: 3-business-day handling, ship in 8–10 business days
Made-to-Order Products: 4-week production, total delivery in ~8–9 weeks
Freight Delivery: Large saunas are shipped via freight truck with liftgate for curbside delivery (driver will lower the item to the ground at the end of your driveway or nearest safe location). If you want it moved further, coordinate directly with the carrier when they call to schedule delivery.
Scheduling & Tracking: You’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. A few days before delivery the freight carrier will contact you directly to coordinate the final details.
Delays & Issues: Occasional delays may happen due to weather, supply chain, or carrier issues — we’ll notify you if this occurs.
If your sauna arrives damaged or with missing parts, please contact us within 48 hours at info@refugiosaunaco.com with photos so we can resolve it promptly.
Installation & Assembly
Our sauna kits are designed for straightforward assembly and are shipped prefabricated with precision-cut components for a smooth installation process. With basic tools and two adults, most customers complete assembly in a single day. All necessary hardware and assembly components are included. Placement Requirements: Electric sauna models may be installed indoors or outdoors on a stable surface capable of holding the weight of the unit. Electric sauna models require a dedicated electrical connection and must be wired by a licensed electrician in accordance with local codes and the heater manufacturer’s specifications.
Wood-fired saunas must always be installed outdoors on a level, solid surface such as a concrete pad, pavers, deck, or reinforced flooring. They cannot be installed indoors under any circumstances due to fire risk. Wood-fired models require proper chimney installation and safe clearances from combustible materials.
